Forgive me?

I have been a bad blog buddy lately and for that, I am sorry.

Today, I thought it would be fun to show you the current Pinterest life I am lusting over. 

My Pinteresting life would include being supppper fashionable and fly.

After I was done beautifying myself, I would channel my time and energy into being a domestic goddess.....

......instead of putting said time and energy into stupid papers and useless reading.


My life would be perfectly organized and clutter-free.

Every item would have a home and my storage would be cute and effective. 


In my ideal Pinterest world, I would be clever enough to be quoted.....

But you know what? That is not me.


I am imperfect.


Sometimes I leave my clothes on the floor when I am too tired to put them away.


Sometimes I reach for the canned soup when I am too lazy to make a real meal.


Sometimes my idea of Holiday decorating is putting a couple little pumpkins on my front porch.


But you wanna know somethings that I love about myself?


I love fiercely and truly .


I am loyal and honest.

I put my whole body into laughing: Tears run down my cheeks and my shoulders bounce up and down.


I am a generally happy person


and 


I love to serve others. Ohhhhh how I love making other people smile.


Life is busy, messy, and imperfect: As am I.


Even though I love imagining my perfect Pinterest life, my current life is perfect for me and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Pintervention

I am in desperate need of one right now.

As a college student, I am busy.

I'm trying to learn how to juggle studying, exercise (ok, to be completely honest, this is non-existent right now....but it will be implemented shortly. I swear.), eating nutritiously, and having a social life.

With all of these things to juggle, you'd think I would buckle down and git-r-done right?


Wrong. 

It is not easy folks when you have an addiction that is hard to shake.

Unlike Clark Kent, my weakness is not kryptonite. 

It is Pinterest..........oh boy is it ever.

I will get an email about someone liking my pin and I will naively  tell myself that I will just get on for 5 minutes to check things out.

Pretty soon, an hour has passed and I am mystified. 

How the heck did I waste all of that time?

It was spent chuckling over funny quotes or sayings.

Admiring hairstyles that I will never have the expertise or features to pull off.


Oh, and lets not forget lusting over shoes and clothes that I do not have the money for. sigh.

Pinterest is an addiction, and I need help.

Please excuse my Dr. Seuss title. But, I know that I am not the only girl that has been planning her wedding on Pinterest.

Is there a wedding date? Nope. Is there an engagement ring? Ummm…negatory. Is there a boy? Three strikes…I’m out!

Part of the fun of Pinterest is that you’re not considered a freak for say….planning your future wedding, nurseries, home, ……or all of the above :)

One hot summer's day, Ashley met the oh so sexy Ryan Reynolds at her local pool.

After dating for a proper amount of time, a ring was purchased and The Proposal was accepted ;)
