I do not know about you, but I LOVE going through old photo albums and reliving fun memories.
So today, when my mom got out my memory bin, I was all over that!
[Warning: You are about to experience picture-overload!]
I love this picture of my mom that my dad took of her when they first started dating:
Isn't she pretty and so rockin' the 80's glam?
I had to smile when I saw this picture of me with my first dog Andy. It brought back memories of the fun we had together. He was the best dog ever...and he is definitely missed.
This picture also marks the momentous occasion of my redneck phase (age 7) where I was missing my two front teeth....yep, I've been keepin' it classy since 1998.
And of course life would not be complete without the precious Santa pictures:
I wished for my front teeth to grow in HAHA! I was a very strange child. But in my defense, my dad tortured me that whole Christmas singing "all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth". Mean huh?!
Now, what good would my parents be if they didn't take the customary blackmail pictures? Ya know, the pics that are brought out when a potential suitor comes over.
Exhibits A and B:
I was innocently asking my parents to look at my beautiful decorating...when I was ambushed!
Later, a much more graceful picture was taken:
Thanks mom and dad. You're the best! But really, try not to be too jealous of my frizzy hair, pink undies, and yellow socks. You will be pleased to hear that my modesty has improved over the years ;)
Of course I, like any other normal child, experienced moments of grumpiness.
This was taken right before I sang at a Church meeting and I was sick of the picture-taking.
*Yes, I very ghetto-ly took a picture, of a picture from my album*
Last but not least, I got to re-discover my gift with the written word:
Even as a seven-year-old, my gifts are mind-blowing.
"I used to be a baby, but now I am a girl.
I used to be not so funny, but now I am a happy bunny."
That folks is true talent.

haha! that is a great poem. I am impressed.
So cute to see pictures of you when you were just a little precious child.
I love how the poem makes it seem that when I was a baby, I wasn't a girl. haha... apparently I used to think that "baby" was a gender :) Haha yeah, I was a bossy little stinker!
